For alot of newcomes, we are orphans that have been adopted by Port Hedland, it becomes an extended family.
Port Hedland is much more than just a mining town. Many residents come for the money that can be earned here, but stay for the lifestyle the area offers. Spectacular sunsets, amazing lightning shows, a rich and interesting history, camping, fishing, social. Its all here.
The winter’s here are magical. The weather is almost perfect, and most permanent residents find plenty of hidden away spots to camp and make lifelong friendships.
