Experience

Buying, selling or renting a home is one of the most important decisions many of us will make at some point in our lives. Our staff share in a combined experience of over twenty-five years in Real Estate and over forty years living in Port Hedland. Our sales staff consistently strives to deliver professional, personalized service in every aspect of the sales process. Many of our Property Management team own rental properties themselves, providing a unique insight into the importance of maintaining the property as well as fostering good relationships in order to obtain the best possible return for investors. Jan Ford
Jan Ford - Principal/Licensee

Jan holds a Diploma in Business (Real Estate) coupled with an Auctioneers License. With more than ten incredible years of experience in the Real Estate industry, Jan proudly boasts the creation of this very prominent and successful, award winning enterprise. Jan is an integral and familiar member of Port Hedland's business community and is recognized for tirelessly working for the betterment of Port Hedland through the creation and encouragement of alliances between local and Government agencies.

   
Tracy Simpson
Tracy Simpson - Financial Controller

Tracy has worked in the industry for over ten years and holds a certificate in Real Estate Sales and Property Management and has completed several units in Diploma of Business (Real Estate). Tracy's ties with the Real Estate Industry however go back further, with her family being the owners of the first Real Estate Agency in Port Hedland. Tracy is responsible for the Trust accounting, general accounting and Property Management Administration.

   
Melanie Parry
Melanie Parry - Office Manager

Since gaining her Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Communication Melanie has spent most of her working life in Advertising and Marketing roles. Making the move from Sydney to Port Hedland in 2005 also provided an opportunity for Melanie to make the move into the real estate industry. Melanie is a licensed Property Manager and is now utilising her experience in the Real Estate industry together with her other skills to identify and implement improvements within Jan Ford Real Estate.

Paula Jenkin
Paula Jenkin - Sales Manager

Hailing from Victoria, Paula comes to us with previous Real Estate experience having already worked in the industry as a Sales Representative. Prior to Real Estate she was one of Australia's most recognised Specialist Cheese Makers and is also a qualified Wine Maker. She has been a finalist in the Young Australian Of The Year for her contribution to Regional Development and was inducted into The Australian Business Womens Hall Of Fame in 1999. Having gained her WA Registration, Paula is now working as Sales Manager 
   
Lisa Jones
Lisa Jones - Property Consultant

Lisa has enjoyed living in Port Hedland for twelve years and has worked in various industries during that time. Her experience and passion for the housing market brought Lisa into the real estate industry where she gained her Certificate of Registration as a Real Estate and Business Sales Representative. Lisa has been working with Jan Ford Real Estate since 2005 and prides herself on her honesty and integrity when dealing with both vendors and purchasers.

   
Kathleen Sykes
Kathleen Sykes - Property Consultant

Kathleen has been a Hedland resident since 2002 and has devoted much of her time to the community through the managment, promotion and execution of fund raising events for local not for profit organisations.

She discovered her passion for real estate in 1997 while living in London and has now been able to make it a reality here in her home town with Jan Ford Real Estate.

When asked "why real estate?", to Kathleen the answer was obvious. "What other profession offers the creativity, flexibility and satisfaction of being part of what is sometimes one of the greatest and most important decision someone will ever make - buying and selling a home".

Donna Thompson-Parker
Donna Thompson-Parker - Property Manager

Donna has had over 8 years Real Estate experience in both Sales and Property Management and is licensed in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining the Real Estate industry Donna worked for 22 years in the Financial Sector of the ANZ Bank. Donna believes owning investment properties is a priority for anyone in the real estate business as it provides a clear understanding of the experience from the owner, tenant, purchaser and vendors perspectives. We welcome Donna back to Jan Ford Real Estate after an absence from Port Hedland of two and a half years and look forward to the experience she brings to the team.
   
Rhonda George
Rhonda George - Property Manager

Rhonda has recently moved to Port Hedland and is keen to develop a career in the Real Estate industry. She comes to us with a solid background in customer service and is looking forward to extending those skills into the field of Property Management.
